HIV Awareness Walk - By Organization
Sindh Human Welfare Organization in collaboration with DHQ Hospital Management Committee organized a walk to aware masses on the dangerous influx of HIV/AIDS. The walk was organized from SHWO head office civil hospital and from civil hospital to march to district council office Abida Cathic CEO SHWO was leading the march among others were Dr. Jamil Ahmed, Mr. Pehlwan Magsi Coordinator UNICEF, Dr. Ghordan Das Representative W.H.O, Mr. Younis Masih Superintendent Jail, Mr. Riaz Ahmed Somooro TPO Sanghar, Mr. Akbar Dhamrah Regional Manager Sui Southern Gas Company were among the major participants. The walk started with chanted slogans HIV means death, HIV is life taking, HIV is our social enemy, save yourself and your children from HIV. The march reached at district council hall where orientation seminar was held and addressed by Dr. Ghordan, Sister Jhosphine Priestess, Mr. Riaz Somoor TPO and Abida Cathic CEO SHWO. Badalte Rishty (Changed Relations) a movie made on awareness regarding HIV/AIDS was presented on multimedia. Every viewer highly appreciated the lesson learnt from the movie and had resolved to have all the precauintionary methods to save human life from HIVS miseries.
