Introduction of Organization

Sindh Human Welfare Organization is a non-governmental, non-profitable development organization established to ameliorate the downtrodden masses of the remote areas of Sindh province and specially district Sanghar. The core objective of the establishment of SHWO was infect made witnessing the pitiable condition of common masses. The detetoring social conditions, low rate of education, rampant poverty, de-grading condition of women in society and other prevalent evils compelled a group of intellectuals to get to gather and ponder over the instant situation.

The birth of Sindh Human Welfare Organization was indeed never accidental but infect a master minded vision to cope-up evils or in the words of Thomas Carlyl “If you cannot fight directly to evils but you are initiative to start fighting also comes in the parameters of your fighting with the evils” has indeed brought a vision for the cited group of intellectual to get to gather and rose their voice for social evils and common mal-practices which has legalized themselves in a society. The group of intellectuals consisted business management degree holders, law graduates, doctors, engineers and other highly calberous people who had the intention of bringing social change in evolutionary way. The main aim or focusing point was how to bring social changes and take the degrading conditions of society into an enlightened path. The said or thought enlightened path would steer the masses towards social development and more importantly to make them aware the realize their rights and the way to attain those rights.

The selection of the name of organization justifies this fact. To work for human development is our vision and our slogan to get materialize our cause.

Perusing this gigantic task the establishment of Sindh Human Welfare Organization was brought into reality on January,2002 with the start of the cited activities from the city of Sanghar. Sanghar is the headquarter city of district is having fabulous importance the socio cultural history of sub-continent. The start of organization city of Sanghar was decided to eulogize the role played by Sangharites in the socio political and cultural history of sub-continent.

The famous charters of the poetry of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai Sohani and Mehar had their birth in the boundaries of district sanghar. The flourishing civilization of mansoora historically know as Brihman abed and the great HUR movement by Pir Sibghatullah Shah Rashdi has where brought universal political change there sparkled the name of Sanghar.

The Sindh Human Welfare Organization has chosen the city to avail from its bounties and sparkle its name as sanghar is socially, politically and culturally viable.

As discussed above SHWO is non-profitable and non-governmental organization with main objectives of serving the masses without caste, creed, religion and social difference. Our aim is to serve all and do all which is possible human development and human betterment.

From the birth of SHWO from 2002 and onwards the social developmental activities were carried on within the jurisdiction of the city Sanghar but as the wave of activities widened the involved volunteers thought of legalizing and increasing the activities throughout district and further widen its scope on provincial level by registering the organization and seeking governmental as well as philanthropist help.

SHWO was registered under The Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies Ordinance, 1961, with registration No.(VA–66/04) of 2004 by Community Development Department District Sanghar Sindh. From this day and onwards the sphere of activities has also increase unboundedly. SHWO has now its sphere on all-social institutions and aspects. It has its access on education, health, social development, institutional development, micro financing and striving day and night to fight the woman rights in the daily discourse of activities.
